I always find it interesting and enlightening to scour the Tech&Learning information feeds for international edtech news and analysis. While many of the particular details regarding politics and culture may differ, the underlying themes of how to best integrate new tools and services into pedagogy have a global consistency. For instance, substitute “E-Rate” for “Digital India” in this piece written by Maya Escueta for the Indian Express this weekend: “Digital India, Modi’s Rs 1 lakh crore scheme, seeks to provide free broadband wifi in all schools.
