MSD Services introduces ManManLai Chinese 1.0, a new mobile app for iPhone and iPod touch. It combines a fully-searchable Chinese-English dictionary with a flash card and organizational system. The entire corpus is searchable allowing for quick look-ups by Chinese Hanzi characters, Pinyin romanization, and English definitions.
Integrated into the app are test preparation vocabulary lists for the standardized Chinese proficiency exam (HSK) administered in mainland China. Beginner to advanced level vocabulary are divided across four lists. The app maintains a global history list of viewed entries, and search results are saved in chronological order.
