Blended Ecology Program for Kids Launched
Junior Explorers is a new online and offline program that brings kids into the conversation of how to preserve Mother Earth through monthly "missions." Characters Kia & Kyle teach them about ecosystems such as the Arctic, the Serengeti, the Amazon and the animals that live there. As kids play online they earn points along the way that are turned into donations that go directly to nonprofits such as the World Wildlife Fund and the Nature Conservancy, with the kids choosing where these donations go.
Mission kits are delivered to the user's door for $19 per month complete with activities, games, collectibles and a secret code that unlocks the monthly online experience. Once unlocked on a computer or tablet, kids are then led online to a 70+ screen adventure that includes solving a mystery in nature, along with online games and trivia.
