To enter the grant contest, schools must first educate students on mercury and how it can effect a young person's health. At the end of the lesson students will be asked to write an essay on "How to reduce the hazards of mercury on a young person's health." Each school will select the best essay and submit it to this website. Then schools will ask family and friends to vote on the essay. The school with the most votes for their state will be awarded a mercury-free projector.
