Office 365 ProPlus benefit for eligible students and teachers
published
An update to Microsoft’s Office 365 ProPlus benefit for students (formerly Student Advantage) now allows eligible students to get Office 365 from their school for free.
Available immediately, students in the U.S. have access to a new self-service process that moves the responsibility to initiate service from the school to the student. That same service will be available to teachers in the U.S. in October. Availability for students and teachers worldwide will be in the next few months.
Eligible students and teachers receive:
- The latest versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access and Publisher
- Installation on up to 5 PCs or Macs, and 5 tablets, including iPad
- 1 Terabyte of OneDrive cloud storage
- Office Online
- 60 Skype world minutes per month
