Today, Amplify and Bossa Studios announced the release of “Twelve A Dozen,” a new adventure game to help students learn and master order of operations, an essential skill for algebra. The game, which is designed for play on the iPad, is available for download through the iOS App Store for $4.99/£2.99.
The game starts with basic calculations and introduces complex mathematical operations gradually to increase the challenge.
The heroine of “Twelve a Dozen” is the number Twelve, who led a tranquil existence in Dozenopolis until one day, a cataclysmic event befell the city, leading to the disappearance of her family. The plucky Twelve and her companion, Dot, then set off on an adventure filled with puzzles to locate and rescue her loved ones.
