HMH To Develop eTextbook Reader App for Windows 8

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) today announced a strategic collaboration with Microsoft Corp. to optimize HMH’s core K-12 education content for the Windows 8 operating system.
HMH will work with Microsoft to develop a new eTextbook reader application for Windows 8 in advance of the new 2014 school year.
The HMH Readers app, designed to reinforce reading fluency and comprehension in grades K-6, and Carmen Sandiego Adventures in Math are currently available for the Windows 8 system, with a new American Heritage Dictionary app also in development for summer 2014.
