Google Classroom Debuts
Classroom is a new tool in Google Apps for Education that combines Google Docs, Drive and Gmail to help teachers create and organize assignments and communicate with their classes. It also lets students organize their work, complete and turn it in, and communicate with their teachers and classmates.
Classroom helps teachers create and collect assignments paperlessly, and track their students' progress completing the assignments. Classroom also lets teachers make announcements, pose questions and respond to students in real time.
Currently, Classroom is available by invitation only. Teachers can apply for a preview of Classroom here. Classroom will be available to any school using Google Apps for Education September 2014.
