published
Wildlife Acoustics introduced its new Echo Meter Touch bat detector/recorder/analyzer at the National Science Teachers' Association Conference (NSTA) in Boston.
The Echo Meter Touch is a key-fob-sized ultrasonic module that plugs into an iPhone or iPad that accompanies a free Echo Meter touch app and provides users with a spectrogram viewer. The app can identify a bat’s species by its sounds and includes a GPS tracking feature that automatically tags all recordings with location information.
