Coming soon: DreamTab tablet for children
DreamWorks and Fuhu will introduce the DreamTab, a programmable tablet computer, at the International Consumer Electronic show in Las Vegas.
The device, made for kids, supplies as much computing power as an iPad, and allows users to stream shows from Nickelodeon, Disney and Cartoon Network in addition to DreamWorks; communicate wirelessly with DreamWorks-made toys; and learn how to animate using videos from the studio's top animators. In addition, kids can send instant messages and emails to parents' smartphones. The tablet is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
The eight-inch version of the DreamTab will be available in the spring.
