Terminal Server Now Available for Education

A ruggedized, Linux-based terminal server, originally developed for the FAA, is now available for the education market, including uses such as thin client and lightweight desktop environment.
Sunhillo Corporation introduces the Avalon terminal server platform, an embedded computer system, based on a commercially-available processor which allows users to take advantage of the Open Source software and hardware community.

- COTS Peripheral Interfacing (Keyboard and monitor)
- Embedded power supply
- Ports: 2 USB 2.0, 2 ethernet 10/100, 1 DVI-I
- 1 serial RS-422 DB25F
- MTBF greater than 600,000 hours
- Fanless design
- SD card (no hard drive)
- Compact form factor allows for variety of mounting options
