Coursera has launched a series of free teacher professional development courses taught by innovators such as the New Teacher Center, Relay Graduate School of Education, Commonwealth Trust, and the American Museum of Natural History.
In addition to the current offerings, including those related to literacy, character, thinking and science, more courses launching in October will focus on how to put the new Common Core into action in classrooms.
