By Kevin Hogan
published Have you heard? MOOCs are obsolete. These days it’s all about Online Learning Activities (OLAs). At least according to Robert Lue, director of Harvard University’s online course portal, HarvardX, who spoke yesterday at an event hosted by Scientific American. More MOOC skepticism here , here , and here . Not everyone is anti-MOOC however. Former Chicago Schools CEO Jean-Claude Brizard, who keynoted our SchoolCIO Summit last fall, writes that the platform should have a place in the k-12 system. So which is it? My guess it will be a little of both.
