K12 Inc. to provide mobile access to Common Core-aligned content, assessments, and languages
K12 Inc. today announced that it is providing school districts mobile access via the iPad® to the A+nyWhere Learning System® (A+LS®) by K12® and Middlebury Interactive Languages™ curricula in the 2013-2014 school year.
The A+nyWhere Learning System by K12, which includes prescriptive learning and remediation content and accelerated coursework, will be available on the iPad. Containing 93 titles in language arts, math, science, social studies, and high school electives, A+LS on the iPad is aligned with Common Core State Standards and state objectives for students in grades 1-12. A+LS also provides study guides and practice and mastery assessments.
Also available via iPad will be 24 world language courses from Middlebury Interactive Languages, a joint venture between K¹² and Middlebury College. School districts can provide students in grades 6-12 mobile access to Middlebury courses in Spanish, French, German, Latin, and Chinese, including AP® Spanish and AP French.
