Edmentum has updated its Study Island learning solution to help users as they prepare for the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) assessment. Teachers can now assign the 30-question diagnostic test at any time of the year to provide a measure of where students stand in relation to the grade-level academic content. The program then provides teachers with immediate feedback through progress reports that can be used to differentiate instruction.
The Study Island STAAR diagnostic assessment is designed to pinpoint the strengths and weaknesses of students in grades 2-12 across all Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) areas, including reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies.
