Advanced Academics announced today it has launched an app for iOS devices giving its students mobile access to the proprietary Robust Online Academic Delivery System (R.O.A.D.S). learning management system. With the ROADS app, students enrolled in Advanced Academics online programs can access their grades, post to discussion boards and get real-time assistance from teachers via an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch(R).
The ROADS app includes:
- Chat - Students have real-time access to certified teachers 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday. Students can communicate with teachers via instant message, as well as a virtual whiteboard, which instructors can use to illustrate math and other concepts.
- Classmail - Students can easily check and respond to email messages from instructors and other students.
- Classroom - Students can quickly check grades and read and respond to discussion threads for their classes.
The ROADS app can be downloaded from the iTunes(R) App Store. Users must be a student of a school that uses the Advanced Academics R.O.A.D.S. learning management system.
