The new iStopMotion for the Mac is a comprehensive application that allows users of all skill and age levels to create stop motion animations.
In addition, support for using an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch as a versatile HD camera has been added with its complementary iStopMotion Remote Camera app. Available free of charge, iStopMotion Remote Camera transmits a live video feed and supports 1080p remote capture with the iPhone 4S and 3rd generation iPad, and 720p with the iPhone 4, iPod touch (4th gen) and iPad2. New key features include a new user interface optimized for Apple's Retina display, enhanced app security through sandboxing and signed DeveloperID, Final Cut Pro X integration, Mac Mountain Lion OS X 10.8 compatibility, and the consolidation of all previous iStopMotion versions – including the ability to create HD movies – into one, newly designed desktop application.
