On July 23, Safari Books Online will announce Safari To Go, a free universal app for all Apple and Android phones and tablets. The new apps were created specifically for the Apple and Android devices on which they are deployed and allow users to consume and manage all Safari Books Online content from whatever device they choose.
The Safari To Go app gives users the ability to pick up where they left off from any Safari Books Online reading platform. This means that a user can access Safari Books Online from a PC and pick up where they
left off reading on their iPhone, iPad, Android phone or Android tablet device, anytime anywhere.
The new Safari To Go mobile apps created specifically for iOS and Android devices are not just a “mobile ready” version of Safari Books Online. With Safari To Go, users not only get the full value of Safari Books Online content and reading tools, they also are able to utilize all the functionality and features of their iOS and Android devices.
