Teachscape and Saba today announced that they have formed an alliance to offer joint customers a competency-based integrated talent management platform, designed to support the development of effective teaching practice throughout the career of educators.
Teachscape has combined its online observer training and assessment system, tools for conducting in-classroom and video-based observations, and online professional development content with Saba's solutions, including learning and talent management, as well as enterprise social networking.
The new platform available through this alliance, includes a teaching evaluation system that joins classroom observation and student achievement data with other measures of teaching performance and aligns Teachscape’s classroom-based video content with the multiple measures evaluation system to support individualized professional development plans for every educator.
