Today, Skype announced its partnership with DonorsChoose.org by launching a new program to bring tech into classrooms. Through the new partnership, Skype will donate $250,000 to teachers requesting technology materials to enable Skype video calling in their classrooms.
Teachers can take advantage of the program by registering on the Skype in the classroom’s website. Each new registered teacher will then receive a $25 USD DonorsChoose.org Gift Card and apply the value to any classroom project at DonorsChoose.org or one they create themselves, if an eligible U.S. public schoolteacher.
