Cerebellum Corporation, the producer and distributor of the Standard Deviants videos, completed its first Kelso’s Choice Grant Program of 2012. The grant awarded four schools and organizations in need with the Kelso’s Choice Conflict Management Curriculum Kit during the month of February.
February’s Kelso’s Choice Grant Program winners are:
- Christina Wu, Dutch Creek Elementary in Littleton, CO.
- Jennifer Knopf, Cleveland Elementary in Lawton, OK.
- Debe Campbell, Navajo County Drug Project in Pinetop, AZ.
- Lillian Hemphill, Watson Chapel Jr. High in Pine Bluff, AR.
Led by Kelso the Frog, a child-friendly frog that guides students through the lessons, the Kelso’s Choice curriculum presents nine options students can use to resolve minor conflicts. By using the curriculum, students are able to determine the difference between problems they can handle on their own and problems that require an adult’s help.
