National Educator Review Panel seeks educator judges
AEP, a non-profit that provides information, professional development opportunities, advocacy, and other services to the educational publishing industry, is recruiting current and former educators and administrators for its first National Educator Review Panel. This group will be a critical part of the judging process for the AEP Awards which take place in February and March.
Now in its 45th year, the AEP Awards program has recently instituted a new judging process with an expanded focus on educator review, the most important measure of product efficacy. Involvement in this program is a great way for teachers to learn more about the process of educational content development and provide valuable feedback directly to the companies on how they can improve their offerings. Judges have the opportunity to keep hundreds of dollars worth of new, cutting edge educational materials and are also given a substantially reduced rate to attend Content in Context, AEP’s annual educational publishing conference, which will be held in June in Washington, D.C.
