The winners of the LEGO® Smart Creativity Contest were revealed today at the STEM Summit in St. Louis.The Grand Prize Winner received a $5,000 gift certificate for LEGO Education products and an all-expense paid trip for two to the STEM Summit. All segment winners received a $2,500 LEGO Education gift certificate and the trip to attend the Summit in St. Louis.
The Grand Prize Winner was Meadowbrook School from Weston, MA, with lead teacher Dotty Corbiere. Meadowbrook School created an original song and video about energizing their LEGO city. The video shows students using LEGO bricks and NXT robotics to complete six missions to conserve energy, manage renewable energy, and reduce waste.
