2011 Global Education Conference
The 2011 Global Education Conference, a free, online gathering, is being held November 14 - 18. Sessions will take place in multiple time zones and multiple languages over the five days.
The conference is a collaborative, world-wide initiative involving students, educators, and organizations. It seeks to present ideas, examples, and projects related to connecting educators and classrooms with a strong emphasis on promoting global awareness, fostering global competency, and inspiring action towards solving real–world problems.
In addition to over 300 general sessions, there are 20 keynote addresses by presenters such as Chris Dede, Fernando Reimers, and Howard Gardner of Harvard.
