California contest seeks sustainable living entries

California Dream Week announces the second edition of it awards program challenging high school juniors and seniors from Northern California to propose concepts for a sustainable tomorrow. Student winners will receive over $5000 in higher education scholarships and their high schools will receive funds raised during the California Dream Week Festival show week in Spring 2012. Winning student projects are shared with professional architects and designers from around the globe.

Students from 40 Northern California counties may participate alone or in groups, in up to two of three available categories: Architecture & Interior Product Design, Transportation, and Product Compliments. Scholarship Awards will be assigned to the top three placing projects in each category.

California Dream Week is a nonprofit 501(c)3 event supported by companies, communities and individuals throughout the world who believe in the need for sustainability, for investing in today's youth and in international cultural awareness.
