DYMO/Mimio announced today 10 schools from 9 states have been awarded “Jump Start” Grants, which required applicants to demonstrate how a school with technology needs could utilize DYMO/Mimio interactive teaching technology. Applicants responded with lesson plan samples, videos, research they had conducted – even poems – for a chance to win portions of the technology provider’s latest MimioClassroom™ suite.
Winners will each receive a MimioTeach™ interactive system, which transforms any dry erase whiteboard into an interactive whiteboard, a MimioPad™ wireless tablet that allows users to interact with their MimioTeach-enabled whiteboard from anywhere in the classroom, and a MimioView™ document camera, which features simple plug-and-play integration with the rest of the product suite.
