Imagine Cup 2012 launches
Today marks the official launch of Microsoft Imagine Cup 2012 registration in the biggest categories of the competition: Software Design, Game Design and the IT Challenge.
Students will be tasked with the responsibility of creating technological solutions to solve some of the world’s toughest problems including environmental concerns, education availability, and disaster relief efforts.
Today also marks the launch of the Imagine Cup Grants, a three-year, $3 million competitive grant program that will help students realize their vision of solving global issues. Each grant award will consist of funding and access to resources and support to help the teams create a business or nonprofit organization to help bring the benefits of their application to market.
