Samsung Techwin America’s Electronic Imaging Division (www.samsungpresenterusa.com) today announced the 50 teachers who have each won a SAMCAM 860 document camera through the Samsung Techwin Grant Program. Teachers were asked to answer the question, “Will new technology in the classroom better prepare our students?”
With document cameras, teachers are able to display students’ work, worksheets, illustrations from books, online information, science experiments, etc. Students can actually see the details of the lesson being presented.
“The power of the internet combined with a SAMCAM would open the worlds inside my students’ minds by enabling me to bring images, videos, or passages from science books and more, into my laboratory,” said Todd Freer, a Andrew Cooke Magnet School Teacher.
