Fifth Graders Improve Math Scores

The Department of Education’s What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) gave Odyssey Math, a K–12 online learning solution, a potentially positive rating based on the results of a study that focused on fifth-grade mathematics students. The study found that students who used Odyssey Math in addition to regular coursework scored an average of 103 points — or 17 percent — higher on the mathematics portion of Pennsylvania’s standardized test than those students who did not use Odyssey Math.
