The Discovery Educator Network (DEN) from Discovery Education contributes to the professional growth of educators, according to a study released today by Dr. Ilona Holland, independent researcher and faculty member of the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Nearly 90 percent of educators said DEN “tremendously” or “very much” contributed to their professional growth. In addition, nearly all respondents reported that their technology use had improved and increased as a result of their involvement with the online community. DEN is an online community of more than 150,000 members worldwide that supports educators’ use of technology in the classroom.
