The Product Development Company® (PTC) today announced that it is continuing its support of the FIRST ® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition (FRC®) by sponsoring nearly 100 FRC teams as well as more than 35 FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC®) teams throughout 2011. PTC will also be speaking at the 2011 FRC Kickoff event scheduled for Jan. 8th, in New Hampshire, where this year's game will be unveiled.
Not-for-profit FIRST designs accessible, innovative programs to build self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills while motivating young people to pursue opportunities in science, technology, and engineering.
