School wins tech furniture for new media center
Bretford Manufacturing, Inc. today announced a winner for its “Oldest Product” video competition. St. Anthony School, a pre-K-8 school in Hawthorne, New Jersey, has become the recipient of a free room full of Bretford technology furniture, which will be used to complete a new state-of-the-art media center. The winning entry described the use of a 26-year old Bretford AV equipment storage cart in the school’s computer lab. According to the application, the Bretford cart is still in use because “it is strong and sturdy, very functional and moves efficiently.”
St. Anthony School is in the process of knocking down the walls between the computer lab and library to create a new 21st century media center within the 87-year old school building.
