San Fran techies raise school funds
published
Tech Search Party is a smart-phone scavenger hunt/fundraiser ideally suited for the gadget-savvy. At the beginning of the November 13th event, teams are given clues to decipher and then have only two hours to scatter throughout San Francisco's Noe Valley in order to find the answers. Smart phones are a necessity, so BlackBerry Curves, Storms, and Pearls, as well as G1s, iPhones and iPads will be out in full force.
All proceeds raised go directly to local public school PTAs. Participating schools are Alvarado Elementary School, James Lick Middle School, Marshall Elementary School, and Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy.
