Promethean and Logical Choice Technologies will join education leaders from around the country to transform Rockefeller Plaza into a Learning Plaza.
Teachers will use Promethean’s ActivClassroom to deliver live lessons and demonstrate best-in-class instructional practices. The ActivClassroom will feature an ActivBoard Mobile system equipped with a 3D capable, extreme short-throw projector, hand-held learner response devices and a laptop powered by ActivInspire, a teaching and presentation software program designed for educators.
The Learning Plaza is a key element of NBC News' Education Nation Summit and will be open from 12Noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, September 26, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, September 27 - Thursday, September 30.
