Reading curriculum for kindergarten and pre-k
Logical Choice Technologies' Letters alive™ brings a kingdom of 26 “seemingly-alive” digital 3D animals into classrooms with the ultimate goal of teaching children to read at the kindergarten level.
Designed to integrate with interactive whiteboards, a document camera and a laptop, the curriculum uses a series of 26 three-dimensional, animated animal characters to teach reading on pre-k and kindergarten levels. Teachers and students use 26 letter cards that, when placed under a compatible document camera, generate a responsive computer-animated character that represents each particular letter of the alphabet. When placing the letter card alongside the 94 Dolch sight word cards, students can create sentences involving the 3-D animated animals, and the animals react to the statements and questions formed by the students.
