published
The second annual PBS Teachers Innovation Awards is now open for entries through March 31. The awards program recognizes educators who incorporate creative new practices and digital media into the classroom to improve student learning. Twelve educators will be selected as first prize winners, and will earn a weeklong "Innovation Immersion Experience" at The Henry Ford, in Dearborn, Mich. Winners' entries, which will be posted at www.pbs.org/teachers/innovators, will serve as exemplary teaching models for other educators.
