Online math adventure implemented
DreamBox Learning has announced at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Regional Conference and Exposition that two Maryland school districts have implemented DreamBox Learning K-3 Math to bolster math competency for thousands of the state’s youngest students in kindergarten through third grade. The online math program is being showcased at the NCTM Expo in Baltimore on October 14-15, 2010 at booth #322.
Maryland’s Carroll County and Howard County school districts are using the program as reinforcement of classroom math curriculum, pull-out math intervention, integration into math lab activities, and as a tool for after school and summer school programs. DreamBox Learning K-3 Math is a robust math program with a curriculum that is based on Common Core State Standards. The program is wrapped within an adventure style game, providing a fun way for kids to learn math.
