Grant Career Center has developed and published an online chemistry course expanding its offerings and making academic preparation more accessible for all of its students. Working with a collaborative group of chemistry teachers from across Clermont County, Cathy Macdonald Ed.D., Technology Supervisor for GCC, has coordinated the development of a chemistry curriculum designed to prepare GCC students for college level chemistry. Making this course available online through the itslearning platform, Macdonald has provided a flexible option for students to complete this important college credential.
With the success of this initial chemistry course, Grant has already coordinated the collaboration for 3 more addressing college preparation needs in Physics, Math and English, and are looking forward to rolling those out in the next semester.
