SoftChalk LLC, provider of eLearning content authoring software, has announced its collaboration with the IMS Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) group to support a new scoring solution that will work directly with Learning Management Systems (LMS). This solution will use the IMS LTI and Basic outcomes framework, which allows remote tools and content to be integrated into a LMS. For SoftChalk users, this collaboration will result in easier and more reliable integration between SoftChalk content and LMS grade books.
Additionally, a new update to the content authoring solution SoftChalk 6 is now available. This significant update allows SoftChalk users to publish learning materials directly into the MERLOT searchable collection of over 21,000 online learning material. In addition, users can search, find and integrate MERLOT digital content into media-rich SoftChalk lessons.
