Today Microsoft announced the availability of Microsoft Live Services Plug-in for Moodle, a free open source course management system that teachers use to create Web sites for their classes. The Live Services Plug-In for Moodle integrates Microsoft Live@edu services such as email, calendar, instant messaging, and search directly within the Moodle environment for the classroom using a single sign-on.
