New notebook and tablet PCs are small, powerful
Fujitsu has released eight new LifeBook® notebooks and tablet PCs in North America, including the smallest multi-touch and held PC, a performance system featuring an HD high-resolution 18.4-inch display, as well as several systems featuring the new 2010 Intel® Core™ i7 and Core i5 processors, as well as the new Intel® Atom™ Z-series processor.
The LifeBook T900 Multi-Touch Convertible Tablet PC and the LifeBook AH550 Desktop Alternative Notebook are particularly useful for educators.
The LifeBook T900 Multi-Touch Convertible Tablet PC weighs 4.5 pounds in weight-saver configuration, with a 13.3-inch mercury-free WXGA widescreen display. It provides optional dual digitizer (active digitizer/capacitive multi-touch) with support for gestures including zoom, rotate, and flicks, and the stylus supports inking and editing/annotating files.
The LifeBook AH550 Desktop Alternative Notebook offers a 15.6-inch widescreen HD display, integrated webcam, dedicated and shared graphics, integrated HDMI port and the ability to write as much as 8.5 GB on dual-layer DVD media.
