#ISTE17 had a number of new product announcements that address everything from personalized learning to student data privacy protection to the latest upgrades in STEAM and maker place offerings. Google announced Google Cast for Education, a free Chrome app that allows students and teachers to share their screens wirelessly from everywhere in the classroom. A new and improved Powerschool unveiled the Unified Classroom, a single comprehensive technology platform for learning, instruction, grading, assessment, and management of student data. The solution gives teachers real-time insights into each student’s performance enabling teachers to make data-informed decisions for personalized learning. And Apple has reappeared at ISTE with interesting curriculum. Tuniversity, looks to "reinvigorate" music education by helping teachers use Apple’s Garageband in the classroom.
