+Impact School at Tahoe Expedition Academy (TEA) has become the first private school in the country to partner with Summit Basecamp. +Impact’s teachers are creating and sharing their personalized learning curriculum on the platform so any public school in Summit’s cross-country network can benefit from their lessons focused on teaching grit and solving real-world problems.
Summit Basecamp, developed in partnership with Stanford University and Facebook, helps public schools bring personalized learning into their classrooms.
Summit Basecamp provides all partner schools with a number of support resources:
- Unlimited access to the Summit Personalized Learning Platform , the online tool that helps power the personalized learning classroom
- Complete curricula for English, math, science and social studies for grades 6-12.
- Ongoing support and mentorship
- Participation in a “community of practice” that brings together teachers and administrators
