The announcement that Pokémon Go will be releasing its new wearable next week has sparked new interest about how this game might be incorporated into education. “Pokemon Go can provide a fantastic way to spark a student’s interest in and connection to science,” writes Lisa Nielsen in a recent post. ISTE shared their 14 ways to bring Pokemon Go to school here and TCEA blogger Lori Gracey writes: “In my perfect world, learning at school would look like Pokemon GO.” But, is Pokémon Go compliant with the Student Online Personal Information Protection Act?
