Follett today announced a significant update to its Destiny product.
Students will now be presented with a ribbon of Destiny resources after they have started a search within Google.
Destiny 14.0 will introduce searching and access to OERs from the Learning Registry, a shared repository of learning resources, designed to help future-ready librarians curate and guide teachers where to find the best content and use it effectively.
Additional features of Destiny 14.0 include:
- Follett has consolidated its previous Library Manager search/discovery and digital content user interfaces and mobile apps into one simple solution, Destiny Discover
- Integration with Baker & Taylor Axis 360
- Improvements to Destiny Resource Manager
- Supports integration with OneRoster – the IMSGlobal standard for loading in student rosters and class schedules
