DreamBox Learning today announced a new feature in the company’s K-8 math curriculum that allows teachers to make assignments that align with their classroom curriculum. AssignFocus® enables teachers to create focused assignments using real-time proficiency data about each learner. DreamBox then automatically differentiates lessons for each student based on their own needs.
Teachers assign a math standard or concept to an entire class or group of students. DreamBox engages those students with differentiated lessons the next time they log in. Recommended lessons take into account each student’s prior knowledge, demonstrated proficiency and readiness for learning. Teachers can use AssignFocus to prepare the class for an upcoming unit, give a homework assignment for a recent classroom lesson, or review for an upcoming assessment.
