Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) today introduced its Student 360 parent-student portal, which works with Tyler SIS™ (student information system) to provide parents, students and school staff enhanced mobile access to student data. The touch-enabled Student 360 app works with tablets and smart phones so that student data can be accessed from virtually anywhere via Internet-connected devices.
The new Student 360 portal complements Tyler SIS, a suite of solutions offering school district functions, including attendance, grade book, scheduling, enrollment, transcripts, GPAs, discipline and more. Current Tyler SIS clients will receive the Student 360 platform without additional license fees through Tyler’s evergreen perpetual licensing approach, which provides regular software enhancements without an additional relicensing fee.
