Acer Launches Laptop Seed Program for Education Market
Acer today announced the launch of its new Acer Education Seed Program, which offers K-12 schools across the United States an opportunity to test either a cloud-based Acer TravelMate B117 notebook with Windows or an Acer C730E Chromebook with Chrome OS for free, with no risk.
This offer enables schools to explore the advantages of cloud based solutions – either Windows or Chrome – using Acer products designed for education and determine which solution is the best fit for their school.
To participate in the Acer Education Seed Program, K-12 schools will complete the online application and conduct a call with Acer to confirm program details and help the school administrator choose the product to best meet their school’s needs. Each K-12 customer will then receive either a cloud-based Acer TravelMate B117 Windows notebook or an Acer C730E-C4BA Chromebook. There is no fee or obligation to purchase to participate in the program.
U.S.-based K-12 schools can apply here. Applications will be accepted beginning today, January 21 through May 31, 2016 or while quantities are available.
