Edthena, a video coaching platform for classroom observation, is launching an iOS app at this week’s Future Education Technology Conference (FETC) in Orlando, Fla. With this release, teachers can now upload video of classroom instruction directly from mobile devices.
Teachers using Edthena analyze their instructional practice through recorded video and online collaboration tools. They upload videos of classroom instruction and share with colleagues who provide time-synced comments.
Edthena has long offered a desktop video tool to aid the process of video compression and video upload. The mobile app, which was in development for nearly six months, will make the process easier by automatically uploading the video immediately after the recording stops.
