Today's Newsletter: Bold Edtech Predictions for 2016
Happy New Year! Now that we’re all back to business, let me share with you my collection of edtech prognostication for the coming year. Susan Patrick at the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) posts a long list that includes personalized professional development, data informed decisions, and mobile learning. Across the pond, the ICT evangelist Mark Anderson chimes in: “Quite rightly, more and more the governing bodies of schools across the land want to see impact from the investment in technologies that take place in the schools that they serve. 2016 should be about making that happen. Making it clear. Making it obvious.” Finally, Tom Vander Ark goes into micro-credentials, augmented reality, and more in Education Week. I will be bookmarking these for this time next year to score the results! —Kevin Hogan, Content Director
